Alas, an update
How long has it been, a few years now? I’m sure at least somebody is ready for a new article. I believe I promised the forums to write about that multi-faced mountain witch, Yama-uba, and I finally pulled it together:

In addition I’ve a few articles (Umibōzu and Suppon (formerly Suppon-no-yūrei)) and added new illustrations to a few more (Zashiki-warashi, Yuki-onna, and Yama-oroshi).

Sort of New Updates
So I updated some articles a while ago but have been neglecting to announce it, but here they are anyway:

Ushi-oni (which has absorbed the Gyūki and Negoro-ji-no-ushi-oni articles)

You’ll notice I haven’t gotten around to re-doing the illustrations (that will happen eventually) but some of the articles now have classical artwork galleries at the bottom (important for some of those creatures created by Toriyama Sekien for whom an image is the core of their existence).
